I have a strong aptitude in Accounting, Math, Microsoft Office to include Excel and Word, Economics, Management, Federal Taxes, History, and Proofreading. I have worked in the accounting field and volunteered my services for the last 14 years. I graduated from college in 1997.
In high school, I assisted a number of students who were struggling in accounting. I am very passionate about getting the best out of people by mentoring them. In the Army I do that every day as an officer. This would be my first time officially tutoring people. My goals in tutoring is to figure out the areas that the student is struggling in and use very simple concepts (the Barney Style) to help them understand the subject. I will also make every attempt to teach methods for students to quickly check their work.
My availability is limited. I am leaving Lawton, OK and moving to Leesville, LA on February 1, 2012.
