I have worked at various things in my life, from law enforcement to factory work. This is after graduating from Ohio University in 1973, with a Bachelor of Arts with concentration in history and government. I was also certified to teach 7-12. Due to some personal family emergencies, I could not wait to get a teaching position, but had to go to work right away. Over the years, I have done substitute teaching and I have worked with at risk kids, tutoring them at home because they could not act in acceptable ways in the classroom. One mother specifically requested me when her second child had the same problems, even coming to my home to ask me to do it. I have also coached kids in baseball and softball, ages 8-13. I officiated sports for forty years in Ohio, licensed by the OHSAA. Now I am retired and quite frankly, have health issues. I want to work with kids who want to learn, but are having difficulty. I can no longer handle kids I may have to fight to survive. I am able to work in various fields, but not in the advanced math or sciences areas. I appreciate this opportunity to introduce myself and say, "Hi". I will close by saying I look forward to meeting you and helping you. God Bless.
