I graduated from Muskingum College as the salutatorian of my class and with degrees in English and Spanish and additional certification in special education. I have a master's degree from Bowling Green State University in the teaching of gifted and talented students. I have been teaching high school English and Spanish for 27 years, the last 24 of them at a suburban school in the Toledo area. I have been recognized by the Toledo Blade as a teacher of the month and was nominated for Teacher of the Year by BCSN. I love sharing my enthusiasm for reading and writing in both English and Spanish with my students. In addition to teaching, I also advise many student groups such as student council, National Honor Society, and Link Crew.
