Helen surpassed all I expected from a tutor. She worked with my granddaughter preparing to take her ACT test. She not only worked on all sections of the test, more important she built up my granddaughter's confidence in taking all tests. Helen had excellent knowledge about each section of the ACT. Mrs. Helen was actually a very great tutor. But if you are searching for a tutor to help you completely on the ACT, meaning learning what to look for, or just needing help on the ACT drastically, I would not recommend her. Mrs. Helen is for individuals who know what they are doing on that ACT, knows how to take the ACT and just need a little bit more help with little strategies, or performance skills. If you don't know nothing in Literature grammar, she really will not spend much time with you. And that was the hardest things. She will say this is a Reflexive Pronoun or this is an Independent clause, rather than reviewing with you what these grammar rules are. That's what I found to be most challenging. If you don't know anything, she is not your desired tutor. And it seems like she's all about her money also. She is $39.00 and hour so use your time wisely. I told her that she becoming a little bit to much to pay for, and I insisted we do just 3 hours. But she was just so rude about it and said I should study on my own then! She didn't even understand were I was coming from. It was so rude!! But if you think she's the one make sure you really review her!! Just some heads up.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
