I have worked in education for more than 14 years and I know that I have found my occupation! My formal education includes a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and my experience has allowed me to work with children from 0-5, elementary and high school students as well as college students. I am currently working as as an Early Childhood Instructor at a Community College. It provides me with the opportunity to share my knowledge, passion, and experience with prospective early childhood educators. My biggest hope is to create a love for learning for teachers who in turn create a love of learning for their students! Additionally, I enjoy working with students one-on-one that need extra assistance. It is important to identify individual learning styles and that is the initial step I take when tutoring students. The content that the student needs to learn is usually black and white but there is so much grey in terms of how each individual student acquires the required knowledge. I pride myself in coming up with creative and innovative measures that make learning fun for children.
