Are you or your child struggling to understand certain material presented in school? As a mom of three, I understand the frustration of not knowing how to deal with your own child. I've been there, I understand. As an older college student, I understand the need to have a caring tutor that comprehends your need to succeed without being made to feel less than 100%. Sometimes, it's just a new take on the subject matter that makes it "click" and you or your child to soar.
I'm ready to help. From elementary math to algebra, basic computer skills to AutoCAD, I'm ready when you are. I'll begin by going over the material and any steps you or your child have already taken, pointing out any minor errors, explaining as we go. Then, I'll ask questions to help you better understand the material. In essence you will teach me what you know. The knowledge is there waiting to be accessed. Together we will go through the material and then I'll sit back and let you "drive." I will become the training wheels that build the confidence you or your child need to ace the subject matter.
A little about myself:
I'm currently a stay-at-home-mom finishing up my accounting degree and have over 10+ years experience working in the handicapped field as a caregiver and volunteer. I'm a member of both Phi Theta Kappa and Kappa Beta Delta Honor Societies. During my college career, many of my instructors have recommended me to the tutoring services department where I have successfully tutored a number of individuals. As a result, I've been requested to continue tutoring numerous subjects as my schedule permits.
I enjoy assisting people in reaching their personal goals and love when everything comes together in the end. Let me be the personal coach and cheerleader you need to reach your academic goals.
