For elementary, middle school, and high school, I have a keen understanding of the basics of all fields of math covered in grades 2-12 (younger children who are mature would be welcome as well!). I have tutored from grades 6 through undergraduate college with many hours experience, including professional tutoring experience in college (mainly tutoring Calculus I).
I tutor several college-level courses as well. I can provide help with College Algebra, General Math, Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, Complex Variables, Number Theory, and Statistics. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with a Computer Science minor, from Cedarville University.
I am also an English and languages lover, with expertise in other technical areas. For technical writing and grammar (in English), programming, and spreadsheet (Excel) data manipulation, I can give a beginner tips, advice, and a solid grounding to build upon in the future. Though I have completed a full set of undergraduate mathematics courses in applied and theoretical mathematics, I also have a solid grounding in Physics, whether high school or preliminary university courses (electrical, mechanical, and modern physics).
Send me a message, and I'll see if I can fulfill your supplementary education need! I will honestly assess whether my qualifications match your need, and we can begin either with a free consultation or a material-specific lesson.

As a student of theoretical mathematics, I studied a semester's worth of Abstract Algebra for my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. While this in-depth understanding is not needed for most practical applications of Algebra 2, the class solidified my understanding of equality, equation manipulation, and the various 'fields' (from simple binary operations to groups, rings, fields, and beyond) found in applications of Algebra. Since Algebra is arguably the basis for all complex mathematical statements, this class in Abstract Algebra along with my Calculus and Real Variables experience, including tutoring experience in Calculus, give me the necessary tools to give a full introduction to the more complex algebraic manipulations required for Algebra 2.
I have tutored Calculus I several times for undergraduates in majors such as Engineering, Geology, Math, and other sciences. I worked for academic enrichment as a part-time tutor at my university.

I do not have particular subject-specific English tutoring qualifications. I obtained a 90th percentile score on the verbal reasoning (communicative English aptitude) section of the GRE recently, which indicates I have a keen grasp of the subject (better than many of my GRE-taking counterparts [college graduates]).
For tutoring, I reference my love for language, grammar, punctuation, and helping others learn to qualify me as a basic-level English tutor. If you have difficulty in any basic area of the language, including any high-school level and most elementary college-level courses, I can be of help. I will not purport that I am a qualified tutor for anything more complex.
Throughout my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics program, I studied various fields of mathematics, proving several results in Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory, and Real Analysis. I completed a beginning-level proofs class, Logic and Methods of Proof, which textbook I still keep handy for easy referencing of logical proof methods and examples. Throughout my tutoring career, I have helped many students work through the fine points of their problem solving, explaining processes for coming to conclusions in subjects ranging from high school algebra to second-semester Calculus.
As far as technical qualification, I have taken a full Calculus sequence for my Mathematics major. I have either been taking a class requiring precalculus understanding of algebra, trigonometry, and Cartesian geometry or tutoring or grading precalculus or calculus courses ever since my Junior year of high school. Having also tutored 6th grade and ACT Math, I have the experience and knowledge to improve a student's understanding of Algebra, Trig, Geometry based on the Cartesian plane, and other Calculus-related subjects for success in all Calculus courses.
Trigonometry, simply the study of triangles and methods of measurement of their attributes (from tri- and "metric" [measurement]), is a key subject of Geometry, applications of Algebra, and a complete understanding of Calculus. Its concepts, though, can be grasped with as little prior training as Algebra I (though usually an understanding of Geometry and Algebra II is preferred if the subject is to be covered more fully). As a well-versed student of Mathematics (B.S. in Mathematics from Cedarville University), I have studied triangles and trigonometric functions in many forms and from many perspectives, including a theoretical Geometry course in college and 4 semesters of Calculus.
