Greetings! My name is Bam. Since I was a kid, I grew up in an environment where knowledge, excellence, perseverance and accomplishment were promoted. With my parents' encouragement and care, I took advantage of every opportunity to learn and I accumulated knowledge in different disciplines. My Dad gave me the incentive and the desire to study to the fullest of my potential. Among other occupations, he was a teacher and a cheerful defender of grammar
. I saw him reading
books and he used to expect from his 10 children substantive reading.
I quickly took interest in Mathematics
and Sciences without neglecting Languages and Social Sciences. The ocean of knowledge was and still is huge enough for anyone to dip into. Words are the primary building blocks of any recorded branch of knowledge. Earlier on, I learned to pay attention to the meaning of words in order to unfold the treasure embedded in each one. Through French
, I absorbed roughly two third of what I know, English
complementing the rest. Vous serez a l'aise, si, par bonheur, vous me choisissez comme tuteur en Francais! I strongly believe in the power of vocabulary
whenever we tackle any written material.
I earned a degree in Economics
in Belgium (1994), the US equivalent of BA. I possess a Bachelor Degree of Science
in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University at Columbus, Ohio (2004). I earned 30 credits from Youngstown State University in the field of Mathematics with emphasis in Statistics
(2007). As a Graduate student at YSU, I taught and tutored College Algebra
for a term. I also facilitated and tutored Statistics Labs at The Akron University as a Graduate student (2011). I am familiar with the state of Math
in USA from my contacts with my Ph.D instructors as well as the students I encountered.
My tutoring experience started at home with my own siblings in Arithmetic and Elementary Science
. Further formal tutoring occurred in Belgium in Math, Physics
, and Chemistry
and some Economics. I have helped students from various background to tackle and overcome their momentarily troubles in Statistics, Probability
, Economics and Calculus
Through years of practice, I have developed creative ways to convey challenging notions, imitating my many teachers and professors who helped me understand complex developments. During my tutoring sessions, it's almost inevitable to allude to Study Skills
. We shall examine the ways we learn and improve where needed. I feel comfortable tutoring a 10 years old girl/boy as well as a 60 years old lady returning to school. I am patient, flexible, and I delight in tutoring! You can succeed! Follow your share of the script for achieving your goal. I promise you to follow mine.

line 1 minus line 2 gives us an equation in y :
8y = 24 ------> y = 3 which we substitute in line 1
x + 9 = 11 ---> x = 2
logP - logN = 5
logM - logN = 9
logM - logP = 4 ----> log M/P = 4 ----> M/P = 104 = 10,000
M = 10,000 times P = 10,000 P
Volume = Area x "How tall the shoebox is" . Therefore the answer is Volume / Area, that is 546 cubic inches / 84 sq. inches, yielding 6.5 inches tall.
The shoebox is 6.5 inches tall.
