I earned my Ph.D. degree in 1995 in China after four years of undergraduate study of biology (B. Sc) and three years of study of cell biology (M. Sc). My postdoctoral research training started in the US from 1997 in top-tier institutions including NIH. I have been holding faculty and senior research staff position in a number of research universities. Over the years, I have published more than 30 research papers, and have been invited to review manuscripts for a number of biomedical journals. I am a board certified Medical Technologist in Molecular Biology. My research interests cover modern biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, and genetics. Since 1997 I have been successfully instructing various-level students, most of them have assumed well-established positions in their science careers.
My teaching philosophy is to use the terms students can understand instead of jargon, and to use more analogs so students can memorize a complicated biochemical process, because I have a thorough understanding of what is behind your textbook! Looking forward to closely working with you to boost your scores.
