Hello, I am Eileen K. and I have a Bachelor of Science degree in the College of Education with three teaching certificates in the areas of Biology, Science and Earth Science, which I earned from Kent State University. I have over twenty years of teaching experience and have taught throughout the Cleveland area and suburbs with great success. One of my major accomplishments is that I received a National Science Teaching Award from the National Science Foundation. I also worked on a medical research project as a research associate which resulted in a published paper on athersclerosis. Much of my chemistry experience was gained at this time. I also attended Baldwin Wallace College, Akron University and the University of Missouri, where I have taken many post graduate courses in statistics, algebra, chemistry geology and some pre med courses in physiology and anatomy.
I love to teach and I am very excited about sharing my experiences. I love to teach math and the sciences and hope this excitement will transfer to the student and learning will become a more positive experience. When teaching is fun learning will also become fun and exciting. Again, a good understanding of the fundamentals makes a perfect base for success in the future. By using my teaching methods, students can learn to conquer any subject and I am willing to share this information with them.
Hope to hear from you soon!
