I try to help students of all ages practice whatever math concepts they need to master, in a way that minimizes the kind of anxiety many of us feel about math. Basic math doesn't have to be your favorite subject in order for it to make sense. Once things fall into place, there are benefits that stretch across the school curriculum and through our daily lives, because math is all around us.

Spanish

Spanish is the easiest language for English speakers to learn. For one thing, each vowel only makes one sound -- its name -- and only the "u" is ever silent. Compared to English, pronunciation is a breeze.
