Hello, my name is Stanley and I'm currently a graduate student at Manhattan College working towards a master's degree in Electrical Engineering. I joined WyzAnt because I studied Mathematics for my bachelor's degree. I studied Mathematics in college because I struggled with it in elementary school and the beginning of high school. It was the subject that would sometimes frustrate me the most. Because I used to struggle with it, I worked harder at it than any other subject. I think that's when I really started to like it. I have no formal tutoring experience, but I think my struggles with math help me understand what students are going through. I helped my friends when they had a hard time in high school and college with this subject and they eventually started to understand it better. Previously I had been a substitute teacher at an elementary school, and I think that helped me become more comfortable with helping people. I can help with calculus, algebra, and elementary math as well as trigonometry.
