Growing up in New York City, I’ve always been inspired by what’s around me, observing the world around me helps me see a different perspective of the world. This is reflected in my work. I strive to forge new ground and create engaging designs for all forms of media. I've built a solid foundation of skills that I still use today. It started with my passion for drawing, which led me to be accepted to the highly regarded High School of Art & Design in New York City. Once there, I thrived in the creative yet competitive environment. I excelled in classes such as illustration, cartooning, painting and photography. My goal was to be a creative professional, so the next logical step was the School of Visual Arts, also in New York City. I studied with instructors who were the top talent in their field. My studies included typography, advertising, graphic design, digital art, sculpture, animation among other elective courses. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA and quickly started working professionally in the design industry. I've worked at small design firms and large corporations as well. I've helped build some of the biggest brands in the entertainment industry such as Comedy Central, HBO, WWE Network, Throughout my career I've gained knowledge and wisdom that can only be attained from working in an industry for over 20 years. There are many choices for tutoring on this site and other sources as well. For anyone who is interested in hiring me as a tutor, I'll say this: Being creative is not simply knowing Photoshop or InDesign. It is a process of creative problem solving. Software like Photoshop or InDesign or Illustrator are merely tools to help you execute your ideas. There are many who call themselves graphic designers, I'll teach you how to be a designer whose work stands above the work of others.
