About me:
Hi! I am a writer by trade and studied English and Advertising in college.
My main focus is writing/reading/creativity, but I am competent in most subject areas and more importantly, my overall career focuses on persuasion, presentation skills, speaking and writing - day in and day out - so I bring a lot to the table when it comes to focus, communication and meeting goals.
I often give workshops, presentations and portfolio reviews to high school and college students.
I have taught creative writing to post-college students in an art school, focusing on story writing, grammar, word-smithing, presentation and more.
I have tutored students from 3rd grade to college level on various subjects and study skills. I have also done conversational English classes with Spanish-speaking and Korean-speaking individuals in the past.
For You:
I follow loose lesson plans and structures I make up for each individual based on their level and need, and will do little quizzes and exercises to make sure they are learning and remembering. We will have question and answer time, conversation time as well as study time if applicable. I want things to be fun, interesting but also educational. I believe people learn best when they're excited and invested, and I try to make the "work" not feel so much like work after all.
