I have recently graduated from City College of New York summa cum laude. I received my degree in both biology and chemistry with a 4.00 GPA in my undergraduate study. Recently, I also finished my graduate study and received master in biology with 3.93 GPA. I have previously taught lab sections for introductory biology as well as advance undergraduate lab classes such as cell and molecular biology. I have taught many introductory and upper level biology, chemistry and physics classes through CCAPP program at CCNY. Through this program, I have tutored students individually and in group setting. I enjoy teaching science through conceptual understanding rather than memorization.
I have also worked in biology and physics research lab for more than four years. I have worked in the cutting edge science projects such as stem cells and laser optics. With my research background, I can not only help students understand complex science problem but can shed the importance of those topics in real life.
