I have tutored students at NYU, Columbia, Penn State, City College, Merchant Marine Academy, Pratt Institute, New York Institute of Technology, LaGuardia Community College (Electronics, Electrical Circuits), DeVry, FIT, and many others. I have taught at Technical Trade Schools, and have developed training materials in some of the businesses I have owned and run. I speak Spanish
and some Chinese
I love to teach and believe learning should be fun. Thus, my approach to teaching is to provide a lot of relevant examples that the student will find interesting. I like to present topics in a clear and easy to understand format. In addition, I provide exercises that build problem-solving and reasoning skills.
My objective is to make sure the student fully understands the material presented. Test taking is another area some students find stressful, so I like to provide test-taking strategies that can be used regardless of the subject matter.
