I am a PhD graduate from Purdue University. I've had various teaching experience at Purdue as a teaching assistant and as an instructor of Calculus, Precalculus and Business Calculus courses. I currently live in Queens, and I am looking for an academic position in New York City.
My tutoring experience began when I was in high school. I've always had the passion for inspiring students to learn Mathematics as my father had inspired me.
I've had a lot of opportunities to help students struggling with math in the common office hours at Purdue. To my tutoring students, I do more than just help them solve problems. I also understand their needs to be mentored in the learning process, and I follow up session by session until they see obvious improvement. I believe that the success of a student comes from his/her own motivation and hard work, in addition to the continuous support from his/her teacher and tutor. When working with my first student, I was able to raise her grade from D to B.
Undergraduate students who want help for their Math courses in college are welcome to contact me.
For students and parents, I am very willing to work with you towards success in Mathematics, as my biggest passion is helping you succeed.
