I have two teaching degrees one in Art the other in English. My quick career overview includes: Art and Copy Direction, for Web Development, Advertising, Social Media and Traditional Media forms. I am a Published Author, and have worked with speech writing and delivery, attention grabbing Essay & Résumé development, Technical and Advertising texts. I have been a Creative consultant in the United States, Europe and on the Pacific Rim. Additionally I have had International Painting Exhibitions, taught Photography, Art History, Studio Art, Computer Software, Creative Writing and Public Speaking.
I like to focus students on best practices and inspire a can do attitude that challenges students to develop their own ideas and to confidently express them verbally, visually and in written forms. My primary goals are to model intellectual inquiry and to provide students the opportunity to practice critical thinking, thereby “lighting the fire” that makes learning exciting and progressive. Knowledge, understanding and confidence are the tools that turn dreams into realities.
