I am an experienced tutor who has taught many students from learning basic algebra, geometry, trigonometry to more advanced topics such as calculus, advanced statistics, number theory, combinatorics and probability. My tutoring experience includes answering questions in regular school learning, preparing for standard tests (SSAT, ISEE, SAT, ACT), and math contests (e.g., MathCounts, AMC). One student I tutored for 2 months got an 800 on the math SAT II taken in June 2012. The student's score was in the low 700s when the tutoring started. Another student I tutored entered the state (New York) round in the 2012 MathCounts.
I have an M.S.E.E from The Johns Hopkins University and am highly proficient in math up to the advanced college level.
I consider myself an excellent math problem solver and can pass to you the same knowledge. When you want to pick up a sport, you want to learn from the best player; if you want to improve your math skills, you should learn from the best problem solver.
I am flexible in tutoring time: I am available in late afternoon, at night, and on weekends.
