I am an experienced photographer currently working in event and portrait photography. I studied in the fine art conservatory of Purchase College and have a solid background in both color and black and white, film and digital. I am proficient with dark room technique and very skilled with Photoshop. I have used and am conversant in numerous Adobe products on both Mac and Windows platforms. I feel I have a knack for explaining things in an easy to understand manner in a laid back atmosphere. I am a working photographer who uses my skills every week photographing events. I use high end cameras and lighting equipment and have extensive knowledge of the technical as well as artistic aspects of photography. I have also shown work in a number of gallery shows.

Art History

I attended SUNY Purchase's Fine Art Conservatory and was required to take a number of art history classes ranging from ancient art to modern in a variety of mediums. In addition to the standard classic and contemporary courses I also took a number of photography history courses as well as one specific to digital mediums. I regularly attend gallery exhibits in Manhattan as well as museums.
