I am a seasoned mother of two children (ages 10 and 14), substitute teacher for grades K-8, and current student of Occupational Therapy with plans to specialize in early childhood pediatric practice. In addition, I have experience in several volunteer positions working with young children (Girl Scout Leader, Literacy Volunteers, classroom parent, community crafts for children).

I am CPR certified, and have several courses in child-and lifespan psychology already completed. Last, but certainly not least, I am empathetic, warm, and caring and I really enjoy working with children (and children genuinely do like and take to me!).

I am both a substitute teacher and substitute one-on-one aide for mainstreamed children with IEPs in a public school district for grades K - 8. I have experience in working with students of all abilities in private or school settings in addition to the insights my Occupational Therapy coursework has given me.

Study Skills

I maintain a 4.0 GPA and am in my first year of graduate studies at Dominican College. I substitute teach during the day and have helped *many* children in elementary and middle schools with study skills in addition to using those skills very effectively myself.
