I am a math, science, and technology tutor with a high rate of success in improving my students' academic performance. I have a fresh, reliable approach to math and science education, based on identifying individual strengths and weaknesses and tailoring custom programs that make these concepts accessible.
I have a degree in physics and I also work as a traffic control systems engineer for the MTA. I have tutored high-school and undergrad physics, chemistry, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, and the SAT subject test in physics.
From a former student:
"During the beginning of my sophomore year I had been struggling a lot in precalculus. My number one issue in class was getting used to my teachers teaching skills. I was incapable of learning her way and desperately wanted to transfer out of the class. However, Ben had given me the motivation to keep trying. I was very comfortable with Ben's ways of teaching. He was very clear and I was actually able to learn. I look forward to working with him again. Thanks Ben!"
