Favrol is a lifelong educator who is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives. He has been a mathematics teacher in NYC for over 10 years and is permanently certified in the subject area (NYS 7-12). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Administration. Favrol subscribes, faithfully, to the philosophy that high expectations coupled with academic rigor and the right instructional approaches will always lead to student achievement. As such, he challenges his students constantly in order to help them prepare to make a successful transition into secondary and higher education. Favrol has also, for more than 7 years, tutored High School and Middle School students in Mathematics and English. He specializes in helping students prepare for the NYS Math Regents exams (Integrated Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II & Trigonometry). He also has extensive experience in Test Prep. As such, he has helped many students significantly increase their SSAT, SAT and ACT scores over the years.
