Andrew has been a phenomenal tutor and I am so glad that I was able to find him [through wyzant]!!! He is extremely patient, knowledgeable in his field, friendly, and even has a great sense of humor (which definitely helps when you have to be focused on math for an hour). I feel very comfortable around him and feel as though I am learning and relearning various skills with each session. He is truly helping me to feel a lot less stressed about the quantitative sections on my GRE coming up this week. His investment in his 'students' is definitely a huge source of motivation and truly makes me feel as though he honestly cares about my results and outcome on this test. I would definitely recommend him as well as contact him myself in the future if I needed any help again. Thank you Wyzant and thank you Andrew.

Andrew is absolutely wonderful! He shows up on time, is very patient and knows what he's talking about. I have always struggled in Math and never really found a tutor who could take their time and explain concepts to me, so that I would actually learn. Andrew has done just that and continues to do so. I finally understand and remember Math problems, even after the initial lessen. He makes it fun to learn and challenges me to help me get better. He has not only helped me in my weak areas of math but has also helped to boost my confidence in the class room. I am truly grateful and could not be more satisfied. I look forward to our next session!

Andrew is the best math tutor I have had to date. I was finally able to pass my first math test this year. I am looking forward to more sessions and better grades. Athena is doing much better in Math. Andrew relates to her very well and understands that math is a challenge for some people. He explains things to her that makes her understand.

I had one lesson so far with Andrew and he was able to help me understand the problems I was having with my class. He made it seem so easy because he did the problems slow and step by step which is the way I learn best. He was very knowledgeable on the subject material. I liked how he wanted to see the questions before the lesson started so he could review them and solve them and we didn't have to waste time on that during the lesson, which left more room for helping and teaching. I look forward to working with him again.

Andrew is one of the most enthusiastic and engaging tutors that has worked with my son. He encourages him to be an active participant in the lessons and makes geometry fun for him. I would highly recommend him as a math tutor.

At this time, my son and I are very satisfied with Andrew. My son was afraid of having a male teacher. Andrew has proven to be very patient. After his first visit my son turned to me and said, "he was great". That's all I needed to hear. I'm sure he will keep up the good work and my son will do well on this ELA exams.

Taught me some valuable SAT lessons in a very small time-frame. Guided me through the work, but gave me all the time I needed to do what I could on my own. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Where to start...Andrew came into my son's life in the last stretch of 9th grade. My son leaped from failing a final math exam to achieving an 80 on the algebra regent exam (in about 3 weeks time)! Miraculous to me...yes! I am quite sure his teacher was dumbfounded! Andrew rescued my son from summer school or possibly repeating Algebra! I am so thrilled and very grateful! I look forward to having Andrew work with my son at the start of the coming school year.
