I have a BS in Psychology Child Life, Applied Child Development. This degree has given me the foundation on development, so that I have an understanding of children. I formerly worked as a Rehabilitation Teacher with the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. I taught many people how to maintain their independence both at home and at work. I worked with various ages, including children and the elderly. I taught Braille, as well. In 2010, I worked for a tutoring company and I tutored five high school students in either Math or Reading. I would work within their homes in a one-on-one situation. I have patience and determination to assist anyone in learning a difficult task. I was the Valedictorian of my high school class and I achieved high honors when graduating from college. I excelled in Math, receiving a 4.0 in both Calculus and Statistics in college.
I am flexible and dependable. I have worked with children in many different settings, so I am comfortable working however you or your child would learn the best. I have transportation and a philosophy of encouraging all parties be involved in the tutoring process.
