Hello fellow students!

My name is Aiesha and I am very excited to help enhance your level in learning! I am a certified elementary educator with a six year experience working teaching assistant working with students with disabilities. I have a BS in English Journalism and a Masters in Elementary Special Education. I enjoy working with elementary students because I am a very enthusiastic when it comes to students learning.

I love thinking out of the box and challenging my skills as an educator to help my students retain as much instruction as possible. I have a high knowledge in reading, grammar, phonics and vocabulary instruction. As a certified New York State educator I am proficient in providing phonic skills in teaching reading using several strategies. I am trained in many reading programs such as, Wilson which teaches students sounds an letter recognition as the first step.

Study Skills

As a certified teaching assistant for the last five years I am capable of helping students to retain studied information. For example, I am able to create documents for spelling, definitions and memorization according to the schools curriculum. Such documents or cue cards can help a student to retain data.

Special Needs

I am certified as a Special Educator. I have taken and passed the New York State Special Needs Assessment. I am able to modify curriculum according to the students needs.

ADD/ADHD

I am a certified New York State Special Education Teacher. I have worked with students with ADD/ ADHD for 7 years on a elementary level. I am also trained for Applied Behavioral Analysis.

Dyslexia

I am a certified New York State Special Education Teacher. I have worked with students with ADD/ ADHD for 7 years on a elementary level. I am well trained to teach foundations in the Wilson reading programs, which is geared towards students with Dyslexia.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
