I am a recent graduate with honors from Dominican College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Upon graduating I have received dual certification in Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities.
My greatest strengths are inspiring and motivating students. In my current position as the head teacher at a preschool, I actively work to engage the students by incorporating a variety of manipulatives, enjoyable activities, and cooperative learning projects. This includes showing the students how to make direct connections between the classroom and everyday life, which helps the students with understanding.
My tutoring experience includes, testing students to determine their educational level, creating a tutoring program based on the results, and working with students to reach educational goals. I always tailor my tutoring sessions to meet the students diverse learning styles.
