I can help you Cello! Whether you're a beginner adult, Suzuki early childhood, or more experienced cellist, I have more than 20 years of knowledge and experience, having taught Cello, Suzuki Cello, and Chamber Music at Brooklyn College, The School for Strings (Juilliard Certification), The National Autonomous University in Mexico City, The 92nd Street Y Music School for many years, and was the first coordinator and teacher of Chamber Music at The USDAN Center for The Arts. I'm currently performing and recording not only classical repertoire, but great classics from the American Songbook, Rock Classics, Musicals, and Bocelli. A graduate of The Manhattan School of Music, LaGuardia High School of Music and Arts and The Performing Arts, The School for Strings (Cert. Juilliard), and The variety of solutions I bring to teaching and playing the Cello are derived from the Russian (Heifetz), American (Alton, Juilliard), Suzuki (Behrend, sfs), and the Alexanian/Casals (Reiner) Schools, so I have a flexible approach toward creating teaching solutions for cellists of all ages. I am also fully bilingual in Spanish, have worked in Public Relations for the National Autonomous University and Orchestra of Mexico City, adept with computers and digital design, into global conservation, grow orchids, and have won prizes for nature and botanical art, and raised three daughters now in College.
