I received an advanced regents diploma from Staten Island Technical High School, at which point I was awarded the Silver Medal for mathematics among other awards. I received a full-tuition scholarship to college on top of two other scholarships from outside foundations namely Elks National Foundation and the Columbus Citizens Foundation. Currently, I am a mechanical engineering undergraduate student at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art pursuing a minor in mathematics. I have tutored students in the following subjects:
I have been tutoring since freshman year of high school, and I have a great deal of experience with many different students with a myriad of backgrounds and intellectual abilities. These students have ranged from elementary school to college. I have tutored both Catholic and public school students for both elementary school and high school. I tutored a student from Tottenville High School in SAT mathematics after receiving a perfect 800 the year prior on the SAT. Additionally, I have tutored college students from the College of Staten Island and Saint John's University. I am confident that I can successfully tutor another student in the subjects I have already taught, and I am not only willing but also excited to teach new students and new subjects (if needed).
