Hello, my name is Amirah. I have a Bachelor's degree of science in Media Arts and Animation. Adobe Flash

I've been using flash to animate for almost 10 years. I studied adobe flash in college while gaining a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation. I've created many animated shorts and interactive flash pieces.

Web Design

I've studied web design for nearly 10 years. I have created many mock-up websites and running websites over the years. I'm advanced in site designing programs such as adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash. I also can provide information on how to go about obtaining domains, hosting, file managing and uploading, hot-linking and other information valuable for designing and running a website successfully.

Video Production

I've studied video production for 4 years and have done video recording and editing work for 9 years total. My knowledge includes that of camera types and settings, audio recording, lighting equipment and editing. I am advanced in video editing programs such as After Effects, Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere and Avid Media just to name a few.

Drawing

I have been drawing for over 20 years and have a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation. My drawing skills and training include still life, figure drawing, life drawing, perspective, black and white, portraits, gesture drawing, outlining & line weight, anatomy and more. Public Speaking

My public speaking skills and background include giving effective and captivating speeches, annunciation/pronunciation and basic communication and interpersonal skills. I've taken several classes that have relied on and required formal public speaking including effective speaking, logic, linguistics, comparative religions and art history. I've also spoken publicly while giving demonstrations, studies, slideshows & presentations, lectures and live art galleries.

Adobe InDesign

I have studied adobe InDesign while obtaining my degree in Media Arts and Animation. I've learned to use this program very quickly and have become advanced in it. InDesign is one of my favorite programs to use and I have worked jobs where it was the primary program of use.

Computer Science

I've studied computer science in middle school, high school and college. I've been regularly using computers to create digital art, study & research, read & write and network since middle school. I'm very familiar with computer language and knowledgeable of hardware and software.

Dreamweaver

I've been designing sites and using Dreamweaver for about 10 years. This includes formally being taught Dreamweaver while studying Media Arts and Animation. My knowledge includes basics on file hosting, hotlinking, designing pages, uploading pages and files, coding, creating pages for multiple browsers and operating systems & exporting in HTML and CSS.

Microsoft Outlook

My background in Microsoft Outlook includes about 10 years of extensively using the program as well Microsoft Office Suite and an expertise in using email in general. Sending and receiving email, configuring Outlook to your email addresses, updating Outlook, creating and managing a calender, and organizing notes and contacts.

Microsoft Windows

I've been using Microsoft Windows operating systems for over 15 years. I've worked on Windows 95, 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. I have knowledge of troubleshooting, navigating, configuring settings, updating drivers and programs, installing programs and lots of other general tasks.
