I have professional art training, real work experience in several art professions, as well as being a NYS certified art teacher.
I have a bachelor's of Fine Art degree from School of Visual Arts New York City, majoring in computer art. My education for my undergraduate degree included a fine arts background in drawing, figure drawing, oil painting, printmaking and art history, as well as education in graphic deign, computer design software, video animation and effects and web development. After graduation, I worked professionally in motion graphics and video special effects and then migrated to web design and flash animation. Eventually I worked in fashion specializing children's wear, designing art and prints.
I began my art teacher training at Queens College and finished my Masters at Stony Brook University. I am a certified Art teacher in the state of New York. I have two years of working experience with children in High School. I specialized in teaching digital technology as well as studio art. I also worked teaching younger artists in camps and special programs.
I since departed with teaching public school to raise a family.
I still, however, do freelance work in fashion design, and graphic design as well practice my own fine art creating. I visit museums and keep current with art and trends.
