I am an Italian, who has studied formally in the United States and Italy. I speak English and Italian with native fluency, and have studied Italian literature and grammar for over 10 years. I have a passion for the language and have an extensive background in Italian poetry and prose that spans the Big Three of modern Italian narration: Dante, Petrarca and Boccaccio. I have a master's in 20th Century Italian Literature from Middlebury College and a B.A in Italian and Philosophy from Queens College. I also have knowledge of Italian linguistics, the evolution of Italian from Latin to vernacular, as well as modern Italian. I have worked the past 6 years as an Italian Adjunct in various Colleges and Italian Programs, in the NY Area, and as a private Tutor.
