I am an experienced tutor who can help your child not only achieve academic success but also become more confident. I currently hold NYS Certifications in general and special education and science special education for students in grades 1-12.
Over the course of 8 years, I have tutored:
- SSAT/ISEE, PSAT, SAT I/II, ACT and NYS Regents test prep;
- subject-specific academic tutoring, such as biology, chemistry, physics, and math, and
- study skills.
I have classroom experience teaching biology, chemistry, and environmental science to students from grades 4-12 at the gifted, AP, and remedial levels and have significant experience working with students with nonverbal and verbal learning, autism spectrum, attention deficit hyperactivity, and mood disorders.
