A native of Brazil, Adriana received her bachelor's and master's degrees in her home country, and then received a PhD in Biological Sciences in a joint program with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. Adriana also received her Masters in the Arts of Teaching at Manhattanville College, in Purchese, NY. For many years Adriana was a Fellow at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Research Associate at the Institue for Music and Neurological Function at the Beth Abraham Family of Health Services. Most recently, Adriana has been an adjunct professor of Biology and Neuro Anatomy of Human Communication at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, and she also has taught at Highlands Middle School (in White Plains) and White Plains High School. She and her family live in Scarsdale. Adriana is a High School teacher at St.Luke’s School, New Canaan, CT, where she teaches AP Biology,Physiology, Anatomy, and General Biology.
