Hello!
My name is Jenna and I am currently an undergraduate student at Brandeis University. I am a double major in biology and theatre. To fulfill my biology major, I am taking all of the core sciences (inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and biology) as well as other science and math classes. To fulfill my theatre major, I am taking creative classes including performance, directing, and set design. Both of my majors allow me to cover a lot of material which makes me extremely well rounded. In addition to academics, I am a coordinator of a free, after-school program for elementary school students living in Waltham's public housing communities. The program offers educational support, including homework help and academic enrichment. I am coming on to my third year with this program and I have gained a lot of experience working with children and helping them academically. During my high school years, I was a counselor for a camp so I understand children and know how to work with them but I also tutored a few underclassmen when I was an upperclassman. Finally, I am a friendly and approachable person. I am passionate about the subjects I love and wish to help others understand certain subjects so that they will feel comfortable with the material.
