I believe in the importance of education and am passionate about learning and helping others learn. I have six years of experience as an elementary-level special education teacher, which shows my commitment to helping students determine how they learn best and implementing those strategies to make learning fun and meaningful. I graduated as Valedictorian from a private New York City high school so mastered all of the high school coursework necessary to pass mandatory Regents exams, and more importantly, be college-ready.As a practicing Catholic who has over sixteen years in youth ministry, I am also able to tutor students in the area of religion. I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Development Sociology from Cornell University where I graduated with honors. During my time at Cornell, I took courses in various subject areas and minored in Near Eastern Studies. I am close to completing my Master's of Science in Teaching degree from CUNY Queens College. I deeply enjoy teaching and am eager to begin tutoring. Learning changes everything!
