Let me help you navigate to language
success! Much of English
is related to Latin
-based languages such as French
. I can help you utilize what you already know in your language to make foreign language
While the Internet
offers many resources, nothing replaces one-on-one sessions with a teacher dedicated to clarifying the cloudy places in a foreign language. I am a certified, experienced tutor and teacher of French, Spanish and ESL
, finding success with children as well as adults at all learning levels. Whether you need to polish
your pronunciation, conversation, listening comprehension, grammar
, memory techniques or all of the preceding, lessons are designed for your needs. I have helped design, administer and grade the FLACS middle school and high school examinations that students must pass in NYS public schools, and I know what students need to know in order to pass them. Adults can polish their French business
skills based on conversation and exercises around French business conventions and terminology, or sharpen their grammar for better reading
comprehension. It's up to you.
For your information, the seafarer's cry of "MayDay!", the "Emergency! Help me right now!" signal used by boaters everywhere is originally from the French: "M'aidez!" = Help me!
Let me be your life raft to language learning! I look forward to hearing from you.
