Spanish students: Hello Everyone! (!Hola a todos!) My name is Jennifer and welcome (bienvenidos) to my Wyzant tutoring page. I look forward to helping you improve your Spanish with me. I have lived and worked as a teacher in Mexico and Spain, and hold a certificate in Latin American Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. I have not only tutored American students in Spanish, I have taught ESL, world history and art history to native Spanish speakers as well as worked as a freelance translator in Rochester.

I approach working as a tutor by catering to the students' language level and using games, activities and flashcards to reinforce your lessons. Homework (tarea) may be assigned should you want to really improve! Also not to be missed in my sessions are learning about Spanish culture and customs around the world, which you can discover through resources I have brought back from my travels. I am a walking library! (!Soy una biblioteca andante!)

Fine Art students: In addition to Spanish, I am available for art lessons in the Finger Lakes area. I teach drawing and painting and specialize in realistic portraiture as well. I will be teaching "how to draw people" at the Arts Center of Yates County, and have exhibited my work locally and in Pittsburgh, PA. Whether you are an adult looking to develop a new hobby, or a student developing a portfolio for the scholastic art awards, I can help you improve your artwork.
