I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Costume Design and a minor in Philosophy from SUNY New Paltz. I love learning new things and evolving my thought process on things already learnt. I have had many careers since graduating from a Tailoring to a Manager in Waiting at Radioshack.

I currently work as a Costume Designer for local theatres and film companies and for the last 5 years I have managed a health food café. I have put my Costume Design degree to good use from designing feature length films working with well-known actors to teaching summer Theatre Workshops for children. Teaching my costume design students has inspired me become a full time teacher. I seem to be consistently thirsty for knowledge. I am free spirited and open minded. The wheels of my mind are always turning. I enjoy any form of expression whether it be art, writing, music, movement,
television, movies, theatre etc. As far as media goes I adore anything that is thought provoking, mind twisting, state altering and aesthetically pleasing. I just built a micro house and have an aquaponics greenhouse for growing fruits and vegetables. I adore spending time with children and doing creative projects.

Currently, I am in graduate school to obtain a dual masters in Special Education and Elementary Education. Obtaining this degree will help me fulfill my life long goal of making a difference in world by doing something I am strongly passionate about.
