Kenny scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT
. A graduate of Stuyvesant High School and Vanderbilt University, he has over 10,000 hours of test prep experience (at age 10, he began preparing for the SHSAT and SAT exams).
Having received almost seven years of continuous of tutoring for these exams, Kenny has significant experience on both sides of the table. He knows which tutoring strategies work and which just create busywork.
Since Kenny began tutoring four years ago, he has worked with students ranging from the elementary through high school level.
During his free time, he studies educational psychology
to continuously refine his teaching methods. By applying the latest research, he equips his students with the study skills
they need to excel
beyond their peers.
To maximize the effectiveness of his tutoring and the individual attention he can provide, he limits himself to 7 students a week. (As of January 24, he meets regularly with 6 students.)
