I'm a medical doctor offering lessons pertaining to USMLE step1, step2 CK and CS, basic science and Italian language. I have given lessons to medical students in an academical environment in subjects such anatomy, biology, surgery, pharmacology, biochemistry over the past 6 years. I also have experience tutoring younger students in basic science subjects, such math and biology.

I practiced as a physician for the past 6 years in Italy, Germany and UK. I'm currently working in cancer research in NYC while I'm completing my exams to become a fully licensed physician in the US. I recently took the USMLE step1 & step2 exams and I achieved an excellent score: I'm available for private tutoring on the whole exam or on specific subjects (I work with Step 1 first aid, Uworld, QBank, Pathoma, Goljan, Kaplan lecture notes for step 1 and step 2, MTB2 & MTB3, Step 2 CS first aid + my personal notes & diagrams).

As part of my job as a surgeon, that I practiced in the EU for the past 6 years, a perfect knowledge of the human body anatomy is considered essential.

Biochemistry

I worked in a research lab at the King's College in London for 18 months. This type of job requires a detailed knowledge in biochemistry and biology.

I worked for 18 months as an honorary researcher at the King's College London, working in a laboratory focused on stem cell research, molecular biology and genetics of cancer.

Italian

I'm a native Italian speaker. Italy is my country, I lived in La Spezia for 18 years and in Florence for 11 years. Both my parents are Italian.

My education before college was focused on human studies (Liceo Classico). The topics studied were Italian language, Italian literature, History, Philosophy, History of Art, among others.

I have given italian lessons to students from different nationalities (Germany, South America, USA, UK), because I just love languages!

Microbiology

NCLEX

I am a physician, specialized in general surgery, licensed in the EU. During my medical carrier I have given lessons to medical students and nurses regarding anatomy, pathology, pharmacology, surgery, physiology, internal medicine.

I studied in detail, for a personal interest, the NCLEX-RN exam requirements in terms of topics that need to be reviewed and exam format, in order to be able to tutor nursing students. I have a deep knowledge of all the topics present in the examination, because of my job as a physician and as a researcher. I have been working in different healthcare environments for many years.

My tutoring focus on reviewing the exam content in detail (familiar with Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination), practicing (familiar with LaCharity Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment: Practice Exercises for the NCLEX Examination), and helping students in developing a deep understanding of the topics and a winning test taking strategy.

Pharmacology

I'm a Medical Doctor, graduated in 2006. As a part of my studies I had to take several pharmacology exams.

I'm specialized in general surgery, and as a part of my job as a resident and physician over the past 6 years I needed to have a deep knowledge of all the topics in pharmacology.

I recently passed with excellent score the step 1 of the US Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), which requires knowledge of pharmacology. In this particular topic my performance was very high.
