I have always been passionate about learning and about the subjects I tutor, and I have been tutoring for over a decade. I specialize in being attuned to how each student's mind works, what each is struggling with, and the internal logic of each subject area, so that my students and I can achieve our goals with maximal efficiency and minimal frustration. This strategy also encourages an easy, intuitive, and fluid understanding of the material so that students remember it longer and are able to do more with it. I genuinely love these subjects and the process of learning, as well as the process of learning to learn. Even in the context of straight subject tutoring, not only does my students' command of the subject matter improve, but their ability to process and use the information does as well.

I tutor verbal and writing test prep through the GRE, humanities and social sciences through college, French language (I am fluent and have lived and studied in France multiple times, including while getting my M.A. in French Cultural Studies), and elementary math and science. I also specialize in tutoring students who find themselves struggling to achieve scores that are commensurate with their knowledge in all subjects--including math and science--at all levels.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, although I am sensitive to certain extenuating circumstances.

I look forward to hearing from you, and please don't hesitate to message me with any questions!
