My love of teaching comes from a sincere pleasure in being with and helping other people. I graduated from Princeton University in 2012, earning a BA in psychology and neuroscience, and just recently, I completed a year of post-graduate studies at a yeshiva in Jerusalem. I have been tutoring throughout high school and college--roughly six years---and I love working in a capacity that helps others achieve academic success as well.
I specialize in teaching SAT/ACT prep as well as elementary, middle, and high school math, English, and science. I scored nearly perfect on the SAT's, passed all 7 AP exams that I took, and have consistently placed in the 99th percentile in state-standardized tests across all subjects. I hold myself to a very high-standard, and I never bill for a lesson if the student or parent is not completely satisfied with my tutoring.
In order to maximize the efficiency of the lessons, I suggest practice assignments to be done outside of our meetings, and I periodically assess and review progress. I try to be flexible with time, and, while I have a 12 hour cancellation policy, I will try my best to arrange a make-up session that suits everyone's schedule.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success in your studies!
I have a lot of experience with ACT/SAT tutoring across all subjects. Though as a student I took only the SAT's, I performed very well (missing only one question) and I have become very familiar with the ACT problems and format through years of successful tutoring.
I have consistently placed in the 99th percentile in state-standardized tests across all subjects. Furthermore, I've had much personal success on the SAT's (2350 composite) as well as much success in dramatically improving my clients' scores over the course of many years.
I graduated as valedictorian of my high school, passed all 7 AP exams that I took, and scored nearly perfect on the SAT's. Though I lived in Florida, and did not take the NY regents exam, I scored in the 99th percentile in Forida's standardized tests. I also successfully graduated from Princeton University, and have been tutoring throughout high school and college. I have reviewed the material on the regents exams, and am confident that I can tutor the material.
I have a lot of experience with SAT tutoring across all subjects and have done very well as a test-taker (missing only one question) and as a tutor helping other people dramatically increase their scores.
