I am a Forensic DNA Analyst, and my teaching style includes using real world examples to make learning interesting and relevant. Don't get frustrated with "why do I even have to learn this?" I'll show you why! Learning these techniques and then learning how these techniques are used in the real world helps you picture it better, and makes it easier to remember for the big test.

As for me, I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Fordham University, and a Master of Science Degree from Pace University. I have been processing criminal cases for over 7 years now and am personally certified in Forensics by the American Board of Criminalistics. I have taught college classes at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Strayer University. My favorite courses to teach are chemistry and biology to non-science major students. I enjoy sharing what I love about the sciences to students who don't already share my interests.

With WyzAnt, I am approved to teach math, science, reading and computer skills.

I am comfortable with students ages 5-95!

We are quite pleased!! — We were looking for someone to tutor our daughters in high school geometry, but wanted more than mere rote memorization of mathematical concepts. We wanted our daughters to be able to apply their geometry lessons to the world in which they live. After quite a bit of searching, we found Amy and we couldn't be more pleased! Amy is a knowledgeable, punctual, and patient tutor who understands how t ...
