I graduated with high honors from my law school and have a Masters degree in political science. I have taught a wide range of classes in the areas of law and political science at several universities, both as a teaching assistant and as an independent instructor. I've designed and graded tests and assignments, and I've graded tests and assignments designed by others, always giving feedback to help students do better. This experience has taught me how to work with students from a wide variety of backgrounds, and how to understand instructors’ expectations and fulfill them. I can help you improve your academic performance, from basic comprehension of material to test taking, research, and essay composition. If you’re thinking about law school, I can also help with the application process, including preparation for the LSAT, on which I scored in the 97th percentile. My schedule is flexible.

Bar Exam

I passed the New York and New Jersey bar exams, and have evaluated the exam answers of others. Prior to passing the exams, I graduated in the top 2% of my law school class. I have taught law classes at the college level, and know how to present complex legal material in a condensed form. For bar exam preparation, I can be most helpful to students who are also taking bar review classes, since I can work with students on the specific issues that they need help with, and can evaluate practice tests and give feedback to improve performance.

Law

I graduated in the top two percent of my law school class and received an award for excellence in legal skills. Following law school I clerked for a New Jersey appellate judge. I have taught a number of law and law related classes at the college level, and I know how to assess course requirements and student needs, and how to help students analyze and absorb complex legal material. I can help students improve on exams and legal writing assignments, especially in the areas of issue spotting and analysis, and presentation.

LSAT

I scored 170 on the LSAT, and I’ve taught a wide variety of classes in law and other subjects at the college level. I’ve worked in the field of argumentation analysis, and have developed techniques for breaking down arguments and scenarios into basic components, and identifying the logic behind particular problems. I can help with all the sections of the test and guide you through a study program that will prepare you to get a great score.
