I am prepared to support high school students navigate the college application process and prepare their college admissions essays and personal statements.

I have more than ten years of experience drawing in dry and mixed media, including graphite, charcoal, dry and oil pastel, and pen. I have taught electives in drawing for 6th and 7th grade students as an AmeriCorps teacher.

I am qualified to tutor in painting as an artist with at least 8 years of experience working in oil paints. I have a minor in painting from Washington University in St. Louis, which included an independent studio class with an acclaimed painter; have had drawings and paintings published in student and youth publications; and have taught art to 6th and 7th graders.
