I have been teaching students of all levels for more than thirteen years. Beginning with economics and English tutoring, and expanding over the years into, math, physics, chemistry and geography -- I can definitely help you to enjoy these subjects while reaching your full potential.

About me:

My formal education is in economics and international relations, with a BA in Political Economy and a minor in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley in California.

In the professional world I have years of experience using digital technology to streamline work processes, conduct in-depth analysis, and write compelling analytical reports and rhetorical pieces.

Do you have a large set of data that you can't quite wrangle into a format to easily analyze? Let me show you how to clean it up, organize it, and then analyze it using Excel Pivot Tables or Microsoft Access. It is amazing what problems you can solve in the workplace once you master these fundamentals. Believe me: it will pay off. Vlookups, pivot tables, pivot charts, conditional formatting, macros, index/match routines. I can help you with it all.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Noah

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Business

I have extensive work experience in corporate settings. I spent multiple years working in a planning/environmental engineering firm, and later at a military contractor managing production lines, client relations and the supply chain. I am highly proficient at MS Excel, MS Access, SQL/databases. I have also written and edited numerous analytical papers, requests for proposals, and best practices papers.

Microsoft Excel

I have developed multiple Excel-based models from scratch in corporate environments, including demand and pricing models.

I have trained many employees in efficient data layout, pivot tables, and incorporating complex functions into their formulas.
