I am a 2011 graduate of NYU Law School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Chicago, where I received my BA with honors in modern European history. Though I have worked in numerous areas of the law, my true, subsisting passion remains in the humanities, and an opportunity to tutor in AP European History, AP World History, SAT II World History, or SAT II Literature subject areas would align perfectly with these interests and fit ideally with my present circumstances. I have enjoyed considerable success on a variety of standardized tests over the course of my academic career, from the SAT and SAT II (on whose subject matter exams--Literature and World History--I scored in the 99th and 97th percentiles, respectively) to the LSAT (on which I also scored in the 99th percentile). History and literature are my overriding passions, and I could be counted on to exhibit both extraordinary enthusiasm as well as great patience and care when tutoring in these areas!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

World History

I received my BA with honors in modern European history from the University of Chicago in 2005. Previous to this I was awarded a 790 on the SAT II World History exam. History is my overriding passion, and I could be counted on to exhibit both extraordinary enthusiasm as well as great patience and care when tutoring in this area.
