Hi,

I am a Fulbright Fellow who is a professional translator. I love English and I love languages and would love to share my enthusiasm and knowledge with you at any level you wish.

It is both my belief and more importantly my real experience, that the only way to learn a language is to do so in a pressure-free and supportive environment. I am a patient and understanding man who practices what he preaches.

I have taught English in German grammar and high schools, I have coached Ice hockey for a private school in Manhattan and worked my way through college as a social worker for mentally ill young adults. In all these endeavours, the singular key to success, above knowledge, is not only to have patience, but to give it. Patience given is confidence received.

Please contact me if you are looking to improve your confidence in English, French or German. I am a native English speaker who has travelled the same road to these foreign languages, and so my empathy is coupled with special tactics for overcoming obstacles unique to going from English to these languages.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing in your journey to new-found confidence.

Best,

Michael
