Dear Students,

I have been tutoring since I was a second year at Columbia University. I have taught over 100 students in SAT (average score increase 200-400 points), math, chemistry, and physics. Judging from my student success rate and their expressed satisfaction, my approach is second to none.

While the classroom is essential to the learning process, it is often unavoidable that the teaching style of one professor or teacher cannot cater to the multiple, varying learning styles of his or her students. My aim is to complement the classroom and fill this void — I am dedicated to getting to know you and how you learn. My tutoring style is highly adaptive — it is my job to observe you carefully and eventually adapt my teaching style to suit your needs.

I will teach you all the tricks and demystify complicated concepts quickly

I have a knack for teaching complicated concepts in a concise, understandable way. I recognize that each student has a unique style of learning, and I have a variety of techniques to cater to every one. I will change my approach until my client understand a concept.

I construct my study regimen around the same principle that earned my acceptance into Columbia University: learning should be an incremental process, whereby one first grasps the basics before advancing to the more challenging material. This proven method of study will save students both time and energy as their knowledge steadily builds upon itself. My study plans are centered on exhaustive drills for every question type, increasing in difficulty as the student becomes more proficient, so that a strong foundation is establish early and crystallized as the lessons progress. I don’t stop drilling my students on a given problem type until solving these problems is as easy as adding one plus one.
